Dr. Monika Lastowiecka graduated with honors from Medical School in Warsaw. She completed her internship and Internal Medicine residency program at Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge. She worked for Advocate Medical Group in Chicago for several years, before she opened her private practice in the Northwest suburbs. She is affiliated with the Alexian Brothers Medical Center and the St. Alexius Medical Center.
After more than 20 years of practice she understands the importance of health maintenance and disease prevention as well as the complexity of diagnostic workup, treatment planning and coordination of care. She values long term patient-physician relationship that she believes is extremely important in achieving the best treatment outcomes. She believes that halping patients stay healthy as well as easing pain and suffering is the most gratifying experience of being a doctor.
